The YMCA has been building strong kids, strong families and strong communities in Richmond since 1854. The YMCA provides healthy and fun programs for all generations.
Positive Vibe Foundation provides a cafe for those with disabilities to work at. Positive Vibe Foundation creates an evolving model for training and employing people with disabilities in order that they enjoy the satisfaction of being gainfully employed.
Coordinators 2 Inc. provides training and education, placement and supportive services to anyone whose life has been touched by adoption.
Fan Free Clinic is Virginia’s oldest free clinic offering a growing array of medical, mental health, community outreach and care coordination services for low-income and uninsured persons. It is now called Health Brigade.
ReeseStrong Foundation Inc. is an all volunteer organization, dedicated to helping families stay strong in the battle against childhood cancer. They develop programs for families, plan fundraisers and raise awareness of childhood cancer.
William Byrd Community House helps the lives of people, particularly children and youth, move from dependency toward self-sufficiency. They provide programs for individuals and families in need in the Richmond area.
Camp Kesem is a camp led by college student leaders to support children through and beyond their parent’s cancer. Camp Kesem wants to provide a fun-filled week while providing services and extra support that the campers need.
Jack and Abby Neonatal Foundation works with social workers and nurses in Richmond-area NICUs. They provide supplies needed for parents with premature babies.
Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's mission is to cure cystic fibrosis and to provide all people with the disease the opportunity to lead full, productive lives by funding research and drug development, promoting individualized treatment, and ensuring access to high-quality, specialized care.
Wings of Hope Ranch rescues neglected horses and rehabilitates them to provide a horse ministry to children in need, free of charge. With the help of Wings of Hope Ranch, rescued horses and children facing conflicts or challenges come together to help each other learn to love and trust again
The Gerry Bertier #42 Foundation builds upon Bertier's tradition of helping sufferers of spinal cord injuries. They are dedicated to raising money for the research of spinal cord injuries.
Children Incorporated provides support to children through child sponsorship. They believe that all children deserve access to basic needs and an education, so that they may be healthy and have the opportunity to become contributing members of their communities.
